@milkarton This tripod certainly isn't for everyone, but to put it in perspective, if you had $3k - $4k worth of camera + lenses, I wouldn't trust it atop a $70 tripod. It's like buying sports car and to save a couple bucks, you skimp on seatbelts.

Gutes Stativ, es ist auch mit dem Sachtler FSB4 Head zu verwenden !

Robin signing off? How faggy!

Why won't they make one outta G-10? it's way cheaper than carbon fiber, but can do the same job.

Seems every time someone buys a new piece of gear it is review time, Yet there is no real review. It is more like a victory lap or a lookey what I got. So if it is a review review it.

Great review. Next time you do a product review, could you show real life field examples and how it packs? Everything changes when in actual field use.
what kind of camera are you using for this video? Thanks

if you press on the camera to take a picture will it shake around?

@randomdude1one I use a timer remote along with my tripod to minimize shake in my photos. The timer remote allows me to take the picture without needing to mash the shutter button on the camera. Phottix makes several wired and wireless timer remotes. I own two and they're pretty reliable.

Hey Robin, just thought this was a cool trick, if you really want to get low to the ground, flip the center pole upside down and you can't really get the camera any closer than that! Happy shooting!

That's a good suggestion, Jacob! It's true, with this tripod you are able to flip the disc around to mount your camera upside-down, however the way they machined the tripod does not allow the extension tube to be flipped. I attached my 5Dmk2 and still had about 6.5 inches from the ground to comfortably make adjustments.
