Bauer, ACTS Evangelism & Worship An interesting side note: After creating this video, and putting it up on YouTube, I attended an NFCYM Members Meeting and suggested Christ Reigns Yesterday Today and Forever as the theme/title for NCYC 2009. Eventually Christ Reigns was adopted. And Sal Solo was invited to present We Cry Justice at a large concurrent session on Friday morning at 11:00 am. May we all let Christ Reign in our hearts to win back thousands of teens who follow the MTV lifestyle instead of following Christ.

Part 2

The program looks cool and all, but what how are you different than a program such as Life Teen.

I do understand that this is part of the charismatic renewal, which is a good thing, but sometimes they ignore church teachings.

These are just a few questions that I have.

The Holy Spirit works in many ways and our ministry is unique in that we use cutting edge multimedia technology to evangelize teens. ACTS Evangelism & Worship is not part of the Charismatic Renewal, although most of us have experienced spiritual growth as a result of the renewal. The renewal is another powerful way the Holy Spirit is moving in the church. We do work with the Renewal whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Part 1

I went on the Sal website and found a few things. This program seams to be liked by both Catholic and protestants. There were also core Catholic things missing. I didn't see anything about Mary and the Saints, praying to them, ect...

I did see that you guys do have a teen mass. Do you go with what the Church says about the worship space?

Thanks for your comment. The ACTS Evangelism & Worship ministry if focused on ministering to Catholic Teens. If you look at past bookings, they are almost entirely to Catholic Teens. However, the gospel is meant for all and if invited to minister to Protestant Teens, we would not decline. Since our ministry is Evangelization, we are focused on that aspect of ministry. We do our best to respect liturgical guidelines.

Thanks for the info. I am actually a college freshmen who,as a High School Student, went though a Life Teen program for youth group and some youth rallies.

I found your program just totally randomly on you tube. I kind of like it, even though many people would consider my a traditional catholic.

I am going to talk to the youth minister at my church about your program. I think my youth minister might like it.

about MTV, MTV is not just manipulating, it just doesn't show anything of artistic value anymore. If MTV owns this generation, fear the apocalypse.
