You're right, something is wrong with my pc. Actually, one of the RAM is loose, it's my fault, I reinserted it, and now it's fine. But still, vista with service pack 2 is not much (if any) better than XP. MicroHard just wasted all that time and money and came up with a not so good operating system.
I hate to uninstall service pack from my a6228x pc. Windows vista suck horribly without service pack. Even with service pack 1 and 2, vista still suck compare to XP. Can you believe it, the mighty pavilion a6228x with dual core... bullshit copy files at the same rate as my tiny weeny acer aspire one 8.9 inch. netbook.
I bought my HP pavilion a6228x with windows vista home premium. When the a6228x first came out, service pack 1 and 2 does not exist. I always use windows update to keep my pc up to date. But windows update still donot show service pack for my pc. So I manually downloaded it and installed service pack 1 and 2. Everything work fine, except once now and then, the pc just turn off by itself for no reason. Can anyone shed some light on this.
It's on Vista Home Basic, not sure about Ultimate,I must admit that SP2 most likely adds some stability, but I never had issues from Vista in the first place, so I don't have much to compare.
I just bought a new laptop w/ vista basic on it...... I have to say Im not at all impressed, there are so many glitches & bugs. Has anyone else found any problems w/ adding user names and workgroups, I created a useraccount w/ out admin privliges. and now my main administrative account Is blocking me from adding & removing programs, along w/ a nother host of issues that come along w/ not have configuring privliges..... Any tips ??
