As reported by ABC news, Alexa Rodriguez was attacked by a red-tail hawk at Boston Red Sox's ballpark. Now, even as a fan on the BoSox, I felt it was in bad taste that her name was released to mock her for having a name similar to A-Rod. Alexa, as a Boston Red Sox fan, I appoligize. The hawk was just trying to defend her egg. Your name had nothing to do with it.

Sorry, I am not a ornithologist. I merely copied it from the original post on ABC. You will note that the woman giving the report even refers to the bird as a Red Tail Hawk. Though I love birds and hawks in particular (there are many here in Los Angeles), I will stick to what I do know...the story.
