science fair project part 1 - first grade

This is the 'Can an egg bounce?' Science fair project.
This is the egg after it has been submersed in vinegar.

Jason's science fair project for this year (2009) is 'CAN AN EGG BOUNCE' He is 6 years old and a first grader, so this was a pretty neat thing for him to do. You need to have a hard boiled egg (I've heard uncooked egg works too) a clear glass container with a lid (vinegar can be pretty smelly) and of course vinegar. You put the egg in the glass, fill it with vinegar just enough to cover the egg, loosely cover it, and watch (documenting of course) and wait for 1-2 days.
