  • I just wanna know whether your scalp was really itchy? mine has been since i was about 17years old (8yrs ago) due to never leaving my scalp breath i.e. taking a weave out and putting one back in the next day! I have now shaved my head, thinking that it would somehow solve things and also so that my hair can grow even, it was really bad before. I have then noticed a very dry area on the top of my scalp which is irritably itchy every with a shaved head! Have you experienced any of that before?

  • @rednessc09 Yes, my scalp used to be very itchy. After I washed my hair, within 2 days it would start to itch very badly. But between doing hot oil treatments and using my 4 oil concoction, I have been able to get the stuff off my scalp that was causing my problems.

  • I have serbboriec dermatitis on my scalp and face.. I was using castor oil and it worked for a short amount of time and then it rejected the castor oil. So then i added tea tree oil to my castor oil and it still didnt work. So i said fuck it. I am frustrated. Now im just scrubbing my scalp intensly with vo5 conditioner and i have not been using shampoo. Its working a bit. Im thinking the sulfates irritated my seborriec dermatitis.

  • @temickab For me, I used a combination of oils (of which included JBCO). Also, shampoo shouldn't have to be your enemy. Just like with any product, it comes down to the ingredients. Making sure your scalp is clean and free of build is one of the best things you can do. If you think sulfates is the culprit, try sulfate free shampoo and moisturize your scalp every other day w/ EVOO, JBCO or castor oil, jojoba oil and coconut oil mixture. Hope this helps :)

  • I just rec'd my first order of JBCO oil saturday so only on day #2 of usage. I will say the directions I rec'd was to use the product on my hair once a day for 60 days with no off days. Wonder if this would have made a difference in your journey and/or growth rate?

  • @amaris94 I'm not sure how it will work for my hair in terms of hair growth because a lot of what I do can promote, as well as, hinder my hair growth. But I do believe JBCO has helped my scalp and skin.
