  • I wouldn't say that there is an "energy" about certain places. I would say that about people or groups of people, but not places. With a location, I think that your behavior in a particular place is a concept of a learned preconception. People learn that they are supposed to be quiet in a library, hence they also become quiet in a bookstore despite the lack of any conditioning to do so. The visual image of the books and shelves keys up a response. That's my interpretation anyway.

  • hahahah pwned!

  • I love how you process and share your thoughts. Our thoughts are based on perceptions. Perception is everything. I think. :)

  • How can we not be influenced by things around us, at least on some small level. And maybe it's a survival mechanism that we feel our own thoughts have validity.

    I liked this one.

BTW, is this older footage or did your hair just grow back out at an alarming rate?

    :-)

  • ....are your thoughts really your own? LOL...

  • DUDE.... I totally agree, people are influenced by the energy of their surroundings. You worded it perfectly. I think some people are more profoundly affected by that energy than others....many are not even aware that it's happening.

  • validity of thought ... hmm you're saying someones being egotistical for believing they have validity? ive felt that way before. one will mull over their own thoughts multiple times over and over looking at the support they have for their own thoughts but then one will also give the "cons" or the other side of your thoughts. looking at it from all angles. things will affect your thoughts. experience will have effect. ignorance as well. part of being human. we all have different perceptions

  • hmm your surroundings do have a profound effect on your perception. but thats part of being a human. we are not robots and i think its beneficial to have perception differentiations and also to have experience giving us a greater sphere of thought and therefore less ignorant. you need those intermediate times of human interaction between times of thought and reflections because its all part of development in the sense of learning in order to survive and flourish ;D lovely mel that was good (:

  • but if the idea is to go beyond Ego.. and to think ones thoughts are valid is to give in to ego..... Would that not mean that the Christian SAVIOR Jesus was full of EGO?
