Quite beautiful! I actually intended to name my "O Danny Boy" by this title "He looked beyond my faults". Because God has done just that and that is what I think about when I play it and hear it. Great playing!! I love listening to a good steel.

How beautiful. I've watched a lot of videos in the last couple of years. This sound goes straight to my heart. I agree that there is an anointing and a blessing here. Thank you so much. It's very soothing, like the Holy Ghost is. A deep praise.
Thank you! That is one of the greatest compliments a christian musician could recieve. All the credit goes to God for the talents He's blessed me with. Again, Thanks!

Awesome! What a great tone you have. I just got a steel for Christmas, its in the shop for repair, gf got me one on eBay. Is it really that hard to play?

Thanks, I appreciate that! I guess the most difficult part (for me) was playing in tune. It's so easy with an instrument without raised frets to "float" above and below the actual fret. This causes the note(s) to be either flat or sharp and can make a great instrument sound really bad. Every thing else will take care of itself. Enjoy the time spent playing and if it becomes a chore, take a break for a while. When you get back to it, it's that much more fun. Austin

Very nice and smooth, very good tone. What do you have besides guitar. Type of amp, effects?

Believe it or not, a volume pedal and a 30 watt crate amp with onboard effects. Onstage I use a Peavey Nashville 400 a fender preamp and two digitech processers(for reverb, delay and etc) I started using the small crate at home as a practice amp, but have now used it for some recording as well. I've also used it onstage live for the lead guitar. Thanks for the comment and question, Austin
