  • The Pendle Witch Story is Not the most important tale about this Hill there is a far far more important one...

  • My dad was born near Pendle Hill and his surname is also Sharratt :)

  • Im descended from the Pendle Witches ! Iv just found out after doing my family tree ! I lived in Rochdale for 5 years and developed a MASSIVE LANCASHIRE ACCENT !

Even though Im from Yorkshire origianally !

  • I was raised in the shadow of Pendle Hill (on a dairy farm, in Bashall Eaves, near Clitheroe). A good friend claimed that I was not born, but brewed in a cauldron on Pendle Hill, so the Pendle Witches are a part of my life--unfortunate wise people, misunderstood by most. I now live in the USA (Texas), but my heart is on Pendle Hill.

  • thank you for posting,i was taken to the hill aged 8,i returned aged 40 last halloween and i love the place,i did not feel any fear but i am completely drawn to the place, there is something very special there,i get a similar feeling in glastonbury.

  • excellent video. I had the opportunity last winter to read Daughters of the Witching Hill as an ARC, and have been fascinated with the story ever since. It is a story that will "stick to your ribs".the tortures that demdyke, alizon, chattox, james.anne and the rest suffered is written in such a poignant fashion ,that you can almost feel the chill mist that they walked through to the prison. thank you for the video.

  • Fascinating video! Now I can't wait to read the book!
