totalcleanair.com Carbon monoxide is dangerous. I have went to many customers houses on routine maintenance and found dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. Most of my customers don't have carbon monoxide alarms prior to me suggesting one. I don't sell them just run to wal mart and get one for twenty bucks. totalcleanair.com

  • Why place it near the thermostat? I would place it downstairs in the basement near the furnace, especially since two kids sleep downstairs. So what's the best spot?

  • I said to place it near the thermostat to keep the video more general. I didn't want to get too technical because less people would watch it. I said to place it near the thermostat because it is usually located in a central place in the home.

You are correct however, the best place to put an alarm is near where people are sleeping.
