What an awesome woman!!!!So brutally honest and I would love to see her one woman show but I will definitely pick up her book....I have family members who have had electroshock therapy and yes it works.....I knew she hated that hairdo......and to all those assholes who say she looks like Elton John......She will lose the weight but stupid is forever!!! Love and laughter to a real woman...thank you

I would imagine that living with bi-polar disorder has to be a challenging struggle, to say the least.
Kudos to Carrie Fisher for being so honest about her struggles and, more importantly, for her fortitude and ability to rise above life's challenges time and time again. She's a life-affirming warrior.
"WISHFUL DRINKING" is hysterically funny (saw it on HBO). I had tears running down my face I was laughing so hard! 'Can't wait to read the book!

Whether or not anybody likes her doesn't negate the fact that you're an awful person for calling her a "stupid Jewish American bitch". I'll bet your mother would be... so proud.
