One of my favorite scenes in this movie. Tina getting a chance to work by herself and not with Ike.

Ike decided to let it go. Read his side of it. He was deeply hurt by her allegations, the way the film told their story. He'd signed away rights to sue re his depiction in the filmfor $40K--big money for him then, but the kind of $ he'd hand over to Tina & Ikettes to get nice gowns 4 an upcoming tour. You don't know. Check it out. Why she said what she did is a mystery to me. Yeah, she had some beefs but not anywhere near what she let go down regarding Ike's legacy.

You'll learn some things about herding cats. Here's a few men that were harder than Ike Turner was re women: Miles Davis, Chuck Berry, James Brown, John Lennon, ...oh, and David Ruffin. What he did to Tammi Terrell was worse than anything Ike Turner did. But there's no movie, see....

@TheHotWerewolf He was in a rough game--entertainment. He had a band, a touring band loaded with sometimes flakey musicians. The road...the Chitlin Circuit. Auto breakdowns...club managers not paying. International travel: transportation hassles, overbooked hotels, passport issues. You try it. He was not a prick. You obviously know nothing of the man beyond a phoney Hollywood dramatization. No doubt you pick your politicians with the same astuteness.
