On the 19th November 2011 The Karate School [Genseiryu] had a friendly competition against another karate school, Australian School of Shotokan Karate [ASSK]. This video was taken at the event. The event was mainly to have fun and give some students experience in competing as the majority of those participating had never been in a competition before. As a result they were all very nervous but willing to do their best. Judging was flexible to encourage the participants but give them a feel for what was required.

Murrumbeena Community Bank [Bendigo Bank] came on board and provided some sponsorship to The Karate School and some trophies for the day. Thank you.
