Please help the world and get rid of Pelosi Boxer and all the Radical Dems in office I say defund the EPA they are out of control

I've got an idea. Central farmers can have all the water they want, but they have to pay a true market rate.
-
this region is already having many issues with salination, pollution etc. It doesn't take a "green freak" to know this. The man made delta is full of oil from the trucks and the years of pesticides. If something is not done, these farms will be shut down anyways, trying to sustain farmland that was not meant for farming is a huge problem.
-
There is a way to keep farmers in work and fisherman and keep an ecosystem that will allow us to farm and fish, and if each party can't make some concession then this problem will drag on.
-
I would think the fish would make good fertilizer.

Middle ground my ass. These enviro wackos who think a stupid little fish is more important than hard working farmers should shut the hell up, get real jobs, and act like real Americans instead of being lazy, dope smoking, tree huggers. God bless these farmers. God damn the cowardly enviro wackos who are driving them into poverty.

Saving the Salmon fishermen in the middle region of California is a strawman argument. Everyone knows that most Salmon are harvested from Alaska to Chile, to say nothing of the Atlantic Salmon. Compared to the historic harvests of the I-5 corridor, the effects on the overall salmon industry of this area is minuscule in terms of food caloric production and economic impact. Grow up Green Freaks. get over it. Nature and ecology is NOT God - except to you fuzzy thinking people! Get a life! Get life!

Salmon are not harvested by thousands of fishermen. Everyone knows that the Salmon industry is run by a few large corporate interests. Fox is making political hay out of this issue for the same reason ACORN is harvesting minorities for the left wing agenda. IT'S WAR IN AMERIKA ! Psa 104:14 "He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;" Screw the fishermen! Salmon are everywhere, let them go where the fish are!

no smelt no salmon, no salmon no fisherman...These farms are in land that was not meant for farming anyways. Its an example of mankind trying to control nature for his own benefit, and when it backfires we punish nature again. I believe the farmers are important, we have to find a middle ground, Fox just wants to exploit these workers to gain political leverage.

OHhhhh!!! Was that an act of FISH terrorism? Screw the Delta Smelt!
Thanks for posting. I'm curious as to what the reason for such Democratic solidarity for turning the water off is. What collection of facts are they privy to, who gave them that information, is there some political concern or leverage, etc, or what?

There are a lot of Democrats and members of all Parties (and races) at this rally. The losers here are the American people. It's eco-tyranny! Fish are more important than people. Like they said in the video: "Put us (the farmers and workers) on the endangered species list." Maybe then the water would be flowing - not! All the government has to do is turn the pumps on. Stop the man made drought!
Cap and Trade (more taxes and more regulations) will make this look like nothing!!!

I don't think you're responding to my question. Everyone does the things that they do and makes the decisions that they make for a set of reasons. Sometimes simple, sometimes complex...sometimes straightforward and overtly explicably, sometimes nuanced and inexplicable even to the person that did it. My question of motives is of the congressmen and Obama himself that allowed this to happen. Were they presented with the necessary info to make the decision, and if so, with what motives in mind?

I believe a "judge" made the decision based on the federal endangered species act. An appeal to the Obama administration has not changed the situation. This has also resulted in a 30% cut in water supplies to San Diegans !
These are avoidable "man-made" crisis! What motivates the eco-insanity of putting plants and animals above human beings?
