Il Soo Sik Dae Ryun is one-step sparring. Begin in Jhoon Bee or ready stance. Prepare with the left hand underneath. Step 45 degrees to the right Into a forward stance. Simultaneously execute a reverse left knife hand block (open hand check). Shift the weight of the body into the opposite direction, executing a right hand reverse middle punch. Shift to the opposite direction while executing a left hand high punch. Slide the left foot toward the right, and then execute a right foot turn kick. Step back and Ba Ro (return to ready stance). With a partner, the junior side will challenge by stepping back with the right leg into a front stance. When the defender is ready he will signal the challenger to begin.
