and how much i regret not giving her the attention she deserved with my last days i had with her, and i will never be able to get her back.

I would always be with her, take her for walks, brush her, feed her, she was my baby. How could I have forgotten her the way i did? But it was too late and the lady was here to take her, at that point i couldnt watch her take away my baby. I cried day and night after that. For an entire week i cried whenever someone brought up the topic of animals. Writing this even brought me to tears, and really showed me how thankful i am of my dog,

She was a wonderful dog, and as time passed she grew old and just around the hollidays, she grew to an age where it was very hard to take care of her and my family is very busy, and there was no one home to give her the attention she needed. I became a teenager and grew apart from her and cared more about my looks than my own dog. My mother found her a new home to live in, and that was the very moment i realized how much she really meant to me.

Throughout my life, I have been thankful for many things. However this season I learned how important my dog was to me. Yes it may just be a dog, but she was my childhood dog. Me and my family adopted her when i was just a little girl in pre-school. She was like a gift sent from heaven, she was the sweetest loving creature that i have ever come across in my life. Where ever i would go people would say what a beautiful dog she was, and all my family members were jealous of how obedient she was
