@domefavor95 If you have a Mac i'd go with iMovie at the start, as soon as you master it move up to Apples Final Cut or Adobe Premier.

OK, maybe Windows Movie Maker's stuff IS like that guy in drag, but on the PC side you can still make some pretty professional-looking home movies with programs like Pinnacle Studio or Sony Vegas Movie Studio.
