Bob Barker is AWESOME. Period. No one no matter how young or nice can ever replace Bob. The funny thing is when he stalls before a big moment and makes it an even BIGGER moment!

@puttputtking I agree. Don't oust Drew, he has a job to do, let's support him. He could host for 35 years, you never know:) I'd suggest visiting the show, BUT that being said, Drew has not ruined the show, Fremantle has by changing the set.

Fremantle DID make the wrong move in hiring Drew Carey as host for The Price is Right, he had VERY LITTLE experience as a game show host, they should have hired somebody with experience as host of different game shows, like maybe David Ruprecht, or Todd Newton, those guys would have been good choices for host of The price is Right.

@saints093 I liked Bob too, but Drew does not need to be ousted as host. I like him. Lots of other people do too. If you don't then DON'T WATCH IT! Drew Carey does not act stupid, he actually is very watchable. Not as much as Bob is, but still watchable. You sound like you would criticize anybody else that got the job as well.

@piscesrising2006 You think Rosie O'Donnell was good. You must have wanted TPIR to get cancelled then. Drew Carey is a good host, I like him and if you don't like him, then DON'T WATCH IT! Us true fans will still watch the show and enjoy it.

Holy crap. This interview is from April 2007, and Bob correctly predicted the future.

Bob Barker is the ONLY person that can host The Price is Right the RIGHT way, and Drew hosts the show the WRONG way, he cracks jokes and acts stupid and all that kind of mess, Drew needs to be ousted and Bob rehired as host permanently.

I quite agree. As a matter of fact I dreamed of him naming me the "Pricinator". (I don't know why I thought of that.) Do you think I could host the show like Bob? I'll bet you I could. NOBODY could ever do what Bob Barker did, and FremantleMedia "made the wrong move" (no pun intended).

Bob said he was afraid of what FremantleMedia would do to the show.... now, 4 years after Bob retired, the nightmare is coming true. Bob was the only person who could truly shut Fremantle up.
