  • I'm singing this for Solo & Ensemble I'm SO excited :) this is such a great song, and Deanna has a wonderful voice...

but I wish someone would post a newer version of it with piano.

  • Doesn't look like anyone has sung this song much...can't find it anywhere accept a recording of this. I have never heard of her before. I want to sing this!

  • oh, okay(:

  • @CarJanLucy

This song is pretty fast. I used it sing it when I took lessons. Jane Powell did a very good rendition of it in her first movie "Song of the Open Road." I wish someone would post it as well!

  • Her tempo is a bit fast, isn't it?

  • thanks so much. i love this song

  • My father's favourite, hearing it again took me back to my childhood sitting on his knee.. Many thanks for sharing this, what a wonderful collection of photo's too.

  • 72 years ago, Deanna Durbin did sing Carmena Waltz on the 15th of November, 1936 on THE EDDIE CANTOR SHOW. Thanks for posting this wonderful historic recording!
