  • I think this is how quickly you dry it. Our climate is very humid and I don't have this issue. Try sealing it with modge podge or jo sonjas all purpose sealer.

  • may i ask, how long does this take to dry?

  • This depends on how big the piece is, how thick it is and how hot,dry and humid your climate. Thicker pieces have taken me 48hrs to dry.

  • if you mix it with small amounts of wood glue it makes it less fragile,but requires a longer drying time, about 5 more hours. Plus, depending on what brand, it gives it a more yellowish look

  • insted of using a pan on heat can you use a microwave

  • i hope this works but im making a very thick heart.... also i want to embelish it with sea shell bits shoul i press those on while its still soft maybe even press them on with some super glue or should i wait to do that til my heart is dry? plz help :)

  • i mix the clay with wood glue but it also cracks and fragile. What can i do to make it not cracks. And may i know what's the purpose of using so much baking soda? Thank you i am going to make it a try again.
