you could just put redstone from presure plates exactly to trapdoors.

@Asknowlage12345 Oh, I thought he was in SMP. Yeah, I use Single player commands, though recently I've been using Zombe's modpack but I'm tired of having it client side, I want it server side with a command, but it's always laggy.

@Polaroidon What he's using is called Single Player Commands. It's a very good mod that has TONS of options for changing the game at your convenience (Type "Fly" or "Noclip"). The best part about it is probably that you can just type the name of the item or block you want to hack yourelf, instead of using the Item ID. And you can hack like that for things that other mods have!
