The use a recorded track for the chorus, of course, but they sing along as well, and you can hear it.
Just one thing: Brent (singer) live is as good as in the studio, but here he's helped by recorded tracks because this song is very difficoult to sing, and the chorus (especially the last 3 choruses) leaves you out of breath... Seriously, try to sing 3 chorus LOUD!

He isn't really lip syncing as such, as he is singing and you can hear him singing live but there is a vocal backing track to... help out. Great song though!

@gbaby97 its hard to sing a song that fast live it would sound like shit if they didnt sync it. theres is backround but hes still singing all he physically can.

I don't think it's possible to sing 2 different notes at the same time like he does at 4:56 so i think he might be faking the chorus lol but shinedown is still awesome and I don't think that they're "taking advantage of the US" or hurting anyone just because he lip syncs the chorus. At least the whole song isn't lip synced like crappy famous pop groups with singers that can't actually sing at all. He can sing really good and even though i don't agree with lip syncing i still respect Brent Smith.

@drummerknot131 It is still lip synced. The volume of the chorus is not the same as the verses; case and point, the transition from 2:31 - 2:35. There's an echo in the verse and then all of a sudden it gets quieter on the chorus. Who cares if it's disrespectful to call them out on it, I would think that as a fan in that audience who paid good money to go see them I would feel disrespected if the band didn't take their performance as seriously as I had paid them to.

ok there may be recorded parts in this. but im sure if u toured as much as they did ur voice would be gone. i still respect them goin out there every concert giving it there all to put on a good show. there one of the best live bands out there an there my favorite band so if u dont have a positive comment then keep it in ur mind.
