Garth Brooks plays Clovis, NM--CBS Interview

"Yukon Jack" booked a gig at the Clovis City Limits night club in January, 1993 and used KSEL Radio in Portales to promote it. Turns out, Yukon Jack was really Garth Brooks and his band. CBS Up To The Minute interviews Steve Richie, Morning Show Host and Program Director and Cheryl Ray, DJ and Promotions Director.

Garth is the greatest person you could ever meet. He and his wife Trisha Yearwood are both very down to earth, I love Garth and all of his music. Would love to go see his Vegas show at the Encore Theatre at the Wynn Hotel.

Garth still lives in Oklahoma. He's one of the few country singers I ever really loved; even though some of his tunes have a southern rock feel to them.
