  • It can be plugged in, it has a sensor to only launch if a ball hits the sensor so you can train your dog to drop a ball in the hopper. It has a remote control to launch a ball on cue or a timed release. I think the hopper holds 12+ balls. The toy finally gave out some time ago so there may be some improvements with a newer model.

  • This toy alone will not be enough to keep a border collie happy for 8 hours. They need mental stimson too, or they may develop ocd which can be very trying when you want to play your way the few hours you have with them.

  • Warning to all who want a border collie who don't have sheep. They need a job, god love 'em.

  • I want 2 get 1 of these, but wonder how it turns on

    On/off switch?

Does it just start up whn u plug it in?

Does it run when theres no ball n it?

If not i guess u cld leave it plugged in all the time and it would only run whn he brings the ball back

    Tht wld b cool

I am thinkin it wld b useful whn we go out of town so our dog can still get exercise

But Im tryin to figure out how tht might work before I spend $120 on it

Wld i b able to set it up with a timer so it runs @ a certain time ea day?

    Thx!

  • i REALLY want a boarder collie. But I also work a 9-5 job, and so does my husband. Leaving it alone for that many hours doesnt seem like a good idea. But... I want one so bad. I feel like If i play with it alot around work it might be okay, this ball launcher in the yard might also be nice. and we have open minded cats too...would that be enought stimulation for one?

  • @chickadee1379 Yep, mine has resorted to rounding up kids and stuffed toys

  • @chickadee1379 too true, my border collie rounds up white poodles at the beach

  • thats an annoying kid

  • i totally want a border collie but i do know they can be a hand bunch and me working 8-10 hours a day would probably be animal abuse for him so ill stick with a big lazy lab named tia that i have lol xD

  • thats an annoying dog
