Several hundred students gathered in front of Manchester Hall this afternoon to protest cuts to the art department and to higher education overall.
The protest was organized as a walkout, with students meeting in front of the Arts South building at noon during normal class time. The crowd of protestors proceeded to march together through the Professional Studies and Fine Arts building to Manchester Hall, where administrators offices are located.

I guess that eliminates all other majors other than business since your logic eliminates most other students in other fields and they 'should look elsewhere'. So all that research SDSU is known for, eliminated, as it isn't under the business major. Get real, sure state has a lot of business majors, but frankly some of them have no idea what they actually want to do and business is a safe major to fall into.

Well, if SDSU has to cut funding, art department should be the first to go. The school more of a business school than an art school.
If these kids are really serious about their art, they should look elsewhere and stop wasting the school's money.
