I will post more videos about how I learn to scratch and mix on turntables (connected to a pc do that you can scratch digital mp3 files) .
The reason is to show other wanna be beginners how it sounds like in the beginning perhaps, so that they know that it is all about practice. I invest 1 a 1 and a half hour to this each day and see what happens.
This is day 2. I learned to control a bit the vinyl although it is hard. I learned to play the guitar on myself so that was even harder. I also played some tunes on my guitar flamenco style, so that comes in handy to do the crabs on the turntables. I am right handed so I use the right hand for moving the platter and the left to cut on the crossfader. I have watched videos by DJ angelo and do it that way.
Everything works nice on traktor audio 6. You just need to calibrate the vinyls and also set up the icon of the turntable within the software. Peace of cake.
