Mega Man 2 Walkthrough Part 6: Dr. Wily Stage 4

You guys don't have it quite as bad watching the video, but I literally could not see anything but the platforms fighting the boss.

It made me upset.

Sprite limitations? That is such a serious flaw,is it the game's inherent problem or recording software

@dragondisaster I forget if the original game was this bad, but I've seen this recorded before and it didn't flicker quite as mine. I think it may have to do with me playing this on the Gamecube, meaning it's running through an emulator and it may not do well.

So if they don't draw the sprites, do you draw the greyed-out version yourself? Cause I can see it fine but you obviously can't see yourself. Just wondering.

When it happens I can't see any of those things during recording, but in the video they usually show up fine. I don't know why.

This is the first time they even got so bad that the sprites grayed out in the video.

@darkchiron Youtube cuts out frames to reduce file size. It sometimes effects the video, like it did here.

Just change to wood and jump down on the platform. then activate the leaf-shield and wait till you get to the other side :D

It's strange that you can't see anything. MegaMan is in gray, along with some of the half-circles. The boss, however, was invisible to me, too.

Really. I thought that even if you had full crash bombs there were to many walls and enemies to hit that it would still drain the crash ammo. Thats good to know cause I couldnt stand having to die on purpose just to beat a level.

No, getting that 1-up is perfectly safe. I just had like 5 from the previous stage already and didn't really need it.

Using a combination of Item 1 and Item 3 can let you navigate the room without having to use the Crash Bombs for anything but hitting the boss. It's a pain in the ass, but you can do it.
