it was 1984. before the internet. before cable TV. 'prolly even before you were born. this was Morgan Hill, California, a sleepy country hamlet just south of San Jose, when a muscle car could outrun the Five-O on a good night, and bums bought ya booze at the local 7-11.

  • excellent work!

  • Wow...this is great! The Emerald Regime doing "My Way"...I think I saw Mr. Lund in one shot, or maybe it was one of your other videos. . I graduated in '80, and things didn't change much in the next 4 years, that's for sure.

Are you one of the Loera boys?

  • LIVE OAK ALL THE WAY!!!! YAAA!!! lol im really excited since im going there next year!

  • live oak blows now... ahah

  • Live Oak High beast. cant wait until i go

  • I go WAY back to the late 1970's when they were THE band in AMERICA and they won several MBA(now BOA) championships! Young Person's Guide was the BOMB! Actually sounded better on a M band than Drum Corps! But that is only my opnion! I remember the saxes ripping through their fugue entrance! it is a pity that the quality of all the area marching bands have gone to pot so to speak ! Except at James Logan who has picked up the marching band banner for all of us Nor Caliornianer! :)

  • and also the elementary band programs are horrible you learn like 6 notes in a year and this year they have taken some away

  • WOW are you serious! the live oak band was so much bigger back tHEN! dang!!~ it's dwindled over the years cause "they" are slowly trying to cut the band programs!

  • Wow! Watching these brings back so many great memories of my years at Live Oak. I am an 81 graduate, but....I do see my brother Andrew vandenOudenaller pushing one of those cars which I think was Scott Elders! Thanks for posting these videos - good to see the Emerald Regime too - they were so cool back in the late 70's and early 80's!

  • Well, i was the class of 85, but this is pretty cool to watch. Brings back some memories. I keep looking for junior ass in the background of one of these videos...have not seen me yet, but i have seen lots of other people i remember from the time. keep posting! -Don =)
