Three American Flyer trains in action on the ACSG layout

The Atlantic Coast S Gaugers - Carolinas Division running trains at the Mauldin SC Train Show. There is the Lionel American Flyer Big Boy pulling a mixed freight of 152 cars plus a caboose. There is also a mixed freight and passenger train being pulled by Rocket diesels. And there is an ACL passenger train being pulled by an American Flyer Pacific steam engine.

153 cars that is crazy! The most I've ever seen pulled with Flyer is I think we did 83 around Christmas with a custom Triplex my friend built. Amazing. Also liked your 475 Rocket Alco, I have one exactly like it with the same passenger cars.

@MartyInLa Thank you for viewing our videos! All the cars in the long train have SHS or American Models trucks on them to make them roll much easier. That custom triplex sounds very interesting.

@acsgcarolinas One of these days I will put a video of that Triplex up and the layout we have. Like I said the Triplex is one of a kind and was scratch built by a friend. It is a very cool and unique locomotive.

i just got mine but i dont have a layout to run it on but i plan to have one set up by Chrsitmas 2010 if not ill push it back to january and so on if it dosent work then LOL. But anyway its one of the most best engines ive ever seen i set up a small oval in the base ment and it wasnt enough but i played with it for like 3 to 4 hours straight so its just really well ill make a video once im done with the layout
