C factor

The `C` factor or Co-ordinator factor began as an idea to help those new
to the role of YouthBank Co-ordinator. Often the first question is "Im now
a YouthBank Co-ordinator, what am I supposed to do!?". At initial training
sessions the questions become more specific. "How do I support grant-
makers who are inexperienced in running their own youth fund and not
take over?", "How do you support young people and make them more
active throughout the whole process?"
Getting the balance between introducing the technical skills of running a
YouthBank and its implementation raises many questions, most notably,
when examining the YouthBank Golden Rules as a compass point for
youth-led decision-making.
YouthBank Co-ordinators across the island of Ireland offer their own
thoughts, experiences and dilemmas in a mixture of light-hearted
insights and pithy discoveries to assist the newcomer in their role, with
some helpful tips and practical suggestions.
