Ferrets Kill mice

Mice where killed in the filming of this vidoe...If you do not want to see a mouse get killed do not watch this.

This vidoe has two ferrets killing 2 mice. The first ferret is perry, she is just about 8 years of age. The white ferret is sparkles and she is just under one year and perrys mate passed away last year and it is good to keep them in pairs. So hence the age diff between the two.

Wow, some people need to relax a little and need to ask them self’s why they choose to get upset at this video clip. Why are they not making angry comments at the videos where a snake eats a mouse, or the frog or the fish or any other animal kills a mouse? Is the ferret playing and toying with the mouse first like a cat does. No they go right for the kill and then eat it.

I did not even know it was a disease, all i have been told that she was old and some of them start to lose there hair. I looked it up and yes i would say she has it and I will get her on meds. Thank you soooo much for you comment. We love her so much and want the best for her.

@snowmink87 Ok update, she was treated when beforewe got her. Now we have some more meds for her. We got Perry 2 years ago and she was already bald plus her mate snow who passed away in the spring at age 9. Sparkels the white one in the vidoe is out newest member of the family. we got older ferrets thinking if we did not like them they would only live3 to 5 years max. But now we love ferrets so much...they are such great pets

Humans don't exist outside of nature. You keep saying nature this, humans that. What do you think we are if not a part of nature? Killing is part of life. I challenge you to find an animal that survives without killing, other than humans. But even humans can't escape their hunter urges and people hunt animals all the time for sport. You guys just live in a fairy land where your food is delivered to you in clean little packages and you never have to get your hands dirty in life.

@perryiamful On the contrary, there is plenty of opposition on those videos. People post live feeding vids on YT because they want to make a spectacle out of watching their pet kill something. Consider for a second if these same people would post a prekilled feeding... no. Why? Answer is obvious.

@perryiamful I am so glad to hear you got her treated! I did not see this comment until today. Sadly it is common in ferrets to develop adrenal disease, as well as insulinoma and lymphoma. How is Perry doing now?

ferrets are rather prone to illness, especailly in late life, i cant remember the name but one causes the loss of fur, in the description that one is rather old so i would assume its just that.
