hey, like your video alot but i believe the "water proof" zippers are not water proof. they are water resistant. infact i dont believe there are any jacket that is actually out atm especially for commercial use that is fully water proof zipper.

I avoid cotton like the plague, i have a bunch of different first-layer types. A couple of burton mid-weight ones, as well as one made out of "cool-max" material. Over it i usually wear a burton fleece hoodie or a northface tka100 fleece, but i generally feel cold in that.
Is it possible that there is only so much that active underwear can do, and that maybe i sweat a lot before i even start riding properly so i get cold afterwards and not even polyester and gore can help?

@BClocals I just bought a ripzone, 5mm/5gm Used it thought it was fine.
I have a 3l hover ak jacket and im not all that impressed with it. What would you wear under the 2l stagger?
I get kinda cold, and the insulator ak jacket i wear underneath gets really really sweaty which makes the shell's breathability questionable

The jacket can only work so fast at moving the moisture away from your body so if you sweat a lot i would go with something thinner. Starting with the normal first layer I would wear a bonded hooded sweatshirt or the Exp Weight mid layer, which is a bit thicker than normal first layers, over it. If your still getting cold then you would move up to a Polar Fleece which is a little thicker. The main thing is to check all your layers and make sure there is no cotton in any of them.
