Yeah a demo is to show off a technology, how a game turns out is different.
Sometimes it seems like games don't really use the technology demoed until a long time later. It's cool to check out some of the older demos sometimes, they can be neat.

@Usul573 great reply. Its good to hear an opposing comment that isn't insulting. Now that i think about it I can see how it might be real-time. But you know how these things work. Im sure that demo is maxing out everything. Graphics like these couldnt be applied to retail games with all the Textures - Data - Geometry - Physics - AI - Big Environments - Etc.) This was merely a small Scene with every ounce of power dedicated to it. Man that SSS was yummie though!

The Luna demo at the start?
You can go download that right now at Nvidia's website provided you have any modern half-way decent Nvidia graphics card.
Made for the 7800GTX which is basically what the RSX is, it ran on my 9400M G which is weaker but newer.
Come on modern graphics are capable of all sorts of insane shaders and stuff.

that shader and sub surface scattering demo wasnt real-time.. Ive never seen anything out to date that comes close to how nice that looked

people don't like pc gaming a because its more easy to used a ps3 ps3 game look good like UC2, noone care about Crysis or how good it look on pc, Crysis only got a 3 out or 5 on xplay so its not a good game any way like god of war3 of UC2, game that will never be on pc

You know I was playing some Halo 1, MW2 DOES have pretty good textures.
Some could be better.

@Usul573 Ya i don't think Cod looks that good the textures are really low rez.If you look at Killzone 2 the textures look really good for a console with limited ram.
