We, the ensemble, explore SECOND LIFE, a virtual world where you can mold yourself into anything at the click of a mouse. The experiential data is useful in creating characters with different inner worlds (i.e. a person who wishes they were something else). Frances Cowhig, the head of the project, thought "avatars" and "internet-based relationships" would be an interesting thing to play with. As of today (2/2/09) we're having a lot of fun figuring out how the whole thing works! These experiences, matched with discussions on inner/outer worlds and the masks themselves, are the key ingredients in building our final presentation.
