Reno Air Race 2009 - P51D STREGA takes Unlimited Gold - Part 2

(PART 2 of 2 Videos) Steven Hinton is the 22 year old pilot who broke his fathers long standing record of being the youngest to win the Unlimited Class Gold at the 2009 Reno National Air Race Championship. Steven masterfully took the P-51D Italian witch "Strega" around the pylons 8 times for a total of 67 miles with a time 08:10.357 and speed 491.822 mph to win the Unlimited Breitling Gold trophy. I was asked if I could provide some Strega footage after a Strega team member viewed my Plyon #3 video. I so very much want to make it to Reno this year. I have a question. When they are racing like this, are they pretty much running all out for the entire race or do they actualy have to throttle it back once in a while?
