Prima, dass da gelentlich Dampfzüge fahren. Ich war dort vor einigen Jahren und dachte, dass dieses Gleis nicht mehr benutzt wird. Wie lang ist denn diese Strecke?

Der Dampfzug fährt ja wie eine Straßenbahn durch die Stadt. Hätte nicht gedacht, daß es so etwas gibt. Das war sicher die Attraktion dieses Tages, die so schnell nicht wiederkommt.

Sehr gut video. In 1970-73 I travelled on the Braunsweig - Berlin(Charlottenberg) Military train which was often pulled by a steam train (Reich Bahn).

Apart by the historic trains about once per month, it is indeed still occasionally used by goods trains from the docklands and for supply of the power station in the west of the city.

Yes. Built in 1943 it came to Austria in 1944 (which was operated by Deutsche Reichsbahn in this time of annexation) and after war was operated by OBB as 153.4867 until 1973. It was then sold to the Graz-Koeflacher Eisenbahn (also Austria). In 1980 it was purchased by the Historical Railway Frankfurt. In 2003 it got a new boiler.
