  • Wikipedia has this translation (closer to the original, but without rhyme):

"Good evening, and good night, with roses adorned, With carnations covered, slip under the covers. Early tomorrow, if God wills, you will wake once again. Early tomorrow, if God wills, you will wake once again.

    ......

  • Thank you for new version of translation :)

  • Wonderfull song badly translated to English.

  • If anyone knows better translation, please let me know.

  • nice help me to understand how to play better

  • There are many YouTube postings on "How to play harmonica" or "Harmonica lesson...etc". They may help you, but the best way to learn is... I think, 'Practics, Practice and Practice'.

  • Good job. Great harmonica tone. God Bless you.

  • @kazhilly I guess at least w have the great poets and authors like Shakespeare, Charles Dickens etc and even now we have some of the best writers the world has to offer.

  • @Ashitaka255

There are some Great English composers, think of Ronald Binge (Elizabethan Serenade) and I'm sure there are a lot more.

It seems like the Greatest composers however came from Europe but I believe that they all lived not only in an age where Music was very much appreciated, they also inspired each other and were very competitive in Germany and Austria, where Lots of Upper-Class people enjoyed their music so that the composers could actually make a living with composing...

  • a Truly Brilliant and inspiring use of a harmonica...

    Thank You very much indeed!!!

  • I'm so jealous that some of the greatest classical composers are not from English speaking countries.

I'm of Bengali origin and some of the greatest classical Bangla songs just aren't as good in English and I assume its the same with other languages, which means songs like this don't mean as much to me as someone who understands the language.

  • Nice idea to put the echo in the second part.

  • What key harp are you using?
