@terrisonb Well wives are usually right, Terry, as I'm sure you've found out. 8o) Gosh, I wouldn't think you'd have to spend that much. From what I see here on youtube, if you sing well (and you do!) really good singing gets picked up even on the cheapest of webcam mics. My humble opinion.

@ImOfTheWoods Thanks for the reply. I'm afraid that I am still using cave man equipment, ha. Dosen't look like the budget this year is going to allow me to join the 21st century. My wife keeps telling me "Its just a hobby, why do you want a $3300 microphone". What can I say?

@terrisonb Thanks very much, Terry. I use Cubase LE (light edition) 4. It was free software that came with my mixer. It's a bit buggy sometimes if I use many tracks - say 10-12, but I'm sure I could upgrade to the full edition to get the fix. It's really all I need for my purposes, though as I don't normally need so many tracks unless I'm messing around with piano, more than one guitar, drumbeat, harmonies, melody etc. 8o)
