It worked back then, but nowadays accuracy > volume

I'd love to see that curly-headed know-it-all actually shoot one if he knows "so much" about these weapons...so annoying. Anywho, I know what I want for Christmas...
-
that's all well and nice, but the point is moot if you can't make enough bullets.
-
Doesn't matter man. They were smart enough to develop something that helped them out a lot. No such thing as fair gun fights in war. You want the advantage because that is your life on the line.
-
@TheSupersoldier1234 perhaps you could explore the G43, and consider if that replaced the K98.
-
@Holammer the germans used a semi-automatic rifle the "gewehr 43" but it was most used as a long ranch sniper rifle but could also be a infantry rifle with out a scope like the soviet SVT-40 :)
-
Fine weapon, but I can't help wonder how the Germans would have fared if they equipped their soldiers with a semi-automatic weapon like the M1 Garand.
-
Well the MG34 could have used little more becuse it would have been shoot from your hands not just a deploy able to shoot.
-
its always so annoying to watch Mr. Pig and his friend Nusbacher....
-
@jpo2084028 yes and no. German upgraded their MG42 into MG3, so in some way you can say they're still in use.
Dear santa......
