My brother is at angola. He won the title Best All Arond Cowboy for 2011. The youngest inmate to ever do so. It was also his first time ever riding a bull and even being in a rodeo!

This was a brilliant documentary. I saw it last night for the first time and it made me sad to think how differently these men's lives might have been had they had a solid family in their youth, They would not have been murderers and thieves. There would not be so many victims if parents were held accountable for being BAD parents. Really sad for everyone.

Feels weird how one should tackle this. Some of them did commit murder, some rape - Scarring or taking another human beings life. I believe that, whatever you've done in life, you shouldn't _always_ have that stamp on you. If this is a way to entertain people, and at the same time allow the inmates to enjoy their "life" - So be it. Regardless the weight of the fuckup you once committed, Gov or not - no one got the right to take your life too. Hence I hate death penalties.
