Airport denies report of UFO Date: 08 June 2009
EDINBURGH Airport has denied claims that it referred an apparent UFO incident to the Ministry of Defence for investigation.
A video said to show a UFO flying close to a passenger jet in the skies over Birkenside, in Gorebridge, was posted on video-sharing website YouTube two weeks ago.

However, a spokesman for the airport said: "We have not referred any reports of a UFO to the MoD."

I had a similar sighting but with a military helicopter a few weeks back. Perfect round sphere flew past the helicopter and vanished a few seconds later. It looked like the chopper was heading towards it and they flew parallel into each other but didn't crash. Then the chopper looked confused, circled a field and flew off. I reported it but got the customary RAF reply that it's not a threat etc. Great vid. Definitely something going on up there!

@SkywatcherScotland i was wondering.. sometimes i see perfect spheres in the sky that look much like stars.. they never blink or get close but they move.. do you think they could be ufo's?
