@TheseusKhan Guess it didn't turn out that way. But it's a good thought. i thought it might end up being that too, since it seemed increasingly clear that River was going to kill the Doctor, so much so that i thought it must be just a misdirection. And you have a good point with that "good man" stuff. Except while the Doctor might not see himself as a good man, there are others, billions of others apparently, that say otherwise, according to The Wedding of River Song.

I agree with others, i beleive the best man she ever knew was rory, not the doctor. Its more logical, the doctor cannot die, unless it is to be discontinued. Think about it, who is the best man you know? Your dad maybe? Point proven.
