  • Hey Northwestern you better can Carmody & get a REAL proven winner who CAN & WILL take NU to the Big Dance like Paul Hewitt or Jeff Capel. Steve Fisher's 66 yrs old but he can still win big games at SDSU (the Aztecs just locked up a #2 seed in the NCAA's.) I'm certain NU can get somebody better than Carmody.

  • @bucky468 I think Northwestern can win with Carmody, but he hasn't motivated his players enough. He had basically the same starting 5 as last year besides Jeremy Nash, and they didn't use that to their advantage. Juice Thompson only started to take full leadership when it was too late to make the NCAA tourny. Dissapointing to say the least.

  • first of all know if the wildcats are going to get to the ncaa tournament before u post a video like this. and tere not.

  • @WrigleyField2008 Carmody was a dominant coach at Princeton. NU liked what they saw in him but his time there might be running out, sorry to say. NU wanted a coach who could assure the Cats an NCAA bid & Carmody hasn't delivered yet. They'd better have a deep run in the NIT or else Carmody is toast. Then again what do I know? Maybe NU still has faith in the guy. I dunno.

  • @WrigleyField2008 NU has been a disappointment for sure but why'd Coble decide to bolt for a pro career overseas? It's not like he came from a poor family or anything like that. His parents had money. Same situation as Tyler Hansbrough at UNC or Harangody at ND. Only difference is those guys didn't get hurt their true sr yrs whereas Coble did. My guess is that Coble graduated & thought he was ready for the next level. Little did he know that his decision hurt NU. Where was Carmody?

  • I can't say I blame Kevin Coble for leaving the program instead of taking the medical redshirt season which would've likely been the difference maker for NU this season but sadly he let down the program when he decided to ink a pro deal overseas. NU needed him so bad this season. All those close games they lost. With Coble they would've won & been one of the top 5 teams in the Big 10. Instead they're heading to their 3rd straight NIT. What fun is it to be NITwits lol?!

  • A win against the Buckeyes would've been enormous :/
