This Tuesday, September 27, 2011, Machine Head will be releasing their seventh studio album entitled "Unto The Locust" via Roadrunner Records. After the success of "The Blackening", Machine Head decided that they were going to close the door on that album, and create something fresh sounding. This is exactly what the band accomplished and the citizens of Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, and Oakland will be the first ones to experience the new Machine Head album at a series of listening parties hosted by the band (details below).

With the current lineup (Robb Flynn: Vocals/Guitars, Phil Demmel: Guitars, Adam Duce: Bass, Dave McClain: Drums), Machine Head has finally found the stability needed for their music to grow like a monster. After the results of their two previous album (Through Ashes of Empires & The Blackening) the band has definitely proved that they the know exactly how to combine different sonic elements that can ensure them that the headbangers of the world lose their minds to their powerful music.

We recently visited the Roadrunner Records headquarters in New York City and had the chance to interview Machine Head's front-man Robb Flynn about 'Unto The Locust'. We also talked to Flynn about the bands recent Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival experience. Check it out!
