Heading out of the city with light commentary. This route I had to figure out ahead of time and ride a couple of times to learn because Rome's one-way road system is madness to work out on the move. I spliced together the best footage from the two trips. This is technically part of the Rambling Ride series but what the hell. Go to Stage6.com (search for sfninja) for the much higher quality version with Part 1 and 2 as one video.

  • I forgot mention that u say the bike is carbureted... my '05 620 monster is injected, and i think most of the monster range are injected too (correct me if i'm wrong): use a Marelli indirect EFI. still its a good habit to warm up the bike.

  • I just assumed that the bike was carbureted because it has a choke control on it...perhaps this is probably more like a 'fast idle' control but the bike is actually fuel injected?

  • how did you like riding the ducati compared to your CBR?

  • It has more torque at low speed. The ergonomics and light weight make it feel a bit like riding the Ninja 250.

  • is that a new york tag?

  • why don't you get a GPS?

  • cool, seeing the sites as you drive, thanks for showing your series on Rome.

  • There's something special about your Rome videos. I've watched a few of your other ones (which were great), but this trip was extra relaxing for me. I simply zoned out. It's good stuff, and I hope to see a lot more from you.

  • How different was it riding in Rome than America???

  • WTF your gonna get back to the states and ride around like wtf ... this is waaaaaaay boring lol

that Italian traffic is gonna spoil ya!

  • The older ducatis have carberetors. I think they changed in 2000.

  • Romes a fun place isnt it? I loved it there.

  • Really cool. How did you plan the trip to Italy and getting the bike and all>?
