  • I like the grainy look as well, but these were chunky-sized and made the footage super muddy.

  • Wow. That's indeed bad luck that you got a litterary "backed & cooked" Vision 2 200T. I'm thinking about a small bag where you can put in some cooling packs. That could be a nice transport bag for Filmstock when you're around in hot conditions.

Would be interesting to see that heat treatened 200T sometimes. I like super grainy stuff but of course if it's not intented it isn't really good ;)

  • BTW the airport personnel told me the Xrays affect only ASA's of 800 or higher..but again, who knows?

  • The Vision 2 200T I used there was horrible! Super grainy. This was also exposed to the Xrays 2X, but I'm wondering if it had anything to do with the fact that I purchased them from Kodak's Atlanta warehouse and shipped to the hotel the next day. Given the amount of brutal heat down there, I'm wondering if it was exposed to too much of it either in the warehouse or during transport...who knows...lesson learned.

  • oh wow. I had no iead the color chemicals could change so drasticially on the 40.

And yes, the x-rays might have been a problem aswell. Good there are no double exposures. This could ahve been worse. I heard the Vision 2 Stock might be much more affected to X-ray exposure. Airport scanners doesn't know mercy to filmstock. You get strange snake lines and trails on the picture. Looks like the K40 was resisting that ;)

  • No. not much correction at all. Apart from the fact that it was expired, it also went through airport Xrays twice. I was not very impressed with this batch and others I used during this trip, some of it was even green-ish, Next time I'll mail the film first.

  • You did a Colorcorrection didn't you? Like removing a little from the yellow brownish tone?

For a K40 there is too much of blue in the low and mid color tones ;)

    Anyway, nice shots from Miami!
