I don't tend to like female singers very much. It's not like I'm trying to discriminate. I would never dismiss a singer just because she's female. It's just that the ones that come to mind all sound so generic... Whitney Houston... Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that Ella was a truly remarkable talent and her voice is one of the most beautiful things ever recorded. If we make contact with an alien race, I hope this is one of the first things we share with them.
