@agy04022761 I know it´s a one year response but i ´ve always though it was a progression in the key of A major , ´cause you see, we have the A Major ( Tonic ) then we have E Major (Dominant ) and then D Major ( Subdominant )
The progression is a tipical I - V - IV and it sounds very cool !!

Wow man, well done, good explanation and exercise. Took me a while to find something this concise!
-
@Burtonianz arpeggio means broken chords

@tziras RIGHT ON my friend.......what a question....... You are cool Theo. thx 4 ur lessons.
-
you. are.god. thanks heaps man
-
sweeping from D on the 5th fret is a toughie :x... great lesson!!
-
@tziras an arpeggio is using the notes in a chord (FOR EXAMPLE: the notes D,A,F#, are in the D chord. a D Major arpeggio would use those same notes) and playing the separately to create a solo and in this case sweep picking.
-
Jesus Christ you could have easily answered the question!
You know what a chord is, right? Arpeggio's are simply each note of a chord plucked individually.

thanks again!!
