PEOPLE, WISE UP AND DO SO QUICKLY because the United States of America is going to fast become the newest 3rd world nation on the planet. nd, now, people are NOT willing to accept $13 per hour jobs when they had $30/hr jobs. In disgusting filthy India, people's salaries are GOING UP and their standard of living is GETTING BETTER.  Our nation is going in the opposite direction.

Multiply that former worker's effects, across the board, by 10's if not 100's of thousands who have lost their jobs to someone in India or China or Costa Rica. The bullshit that is outsourcing is a cancer that has been rotting away the US economy and along with criminal's like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd and their wonderful mortgage meltdown show -- its no wonder the nation is NOT GOING TO RECOVER any time soon.

But the Federal Govt isnt immune to this problem either. Their tax revenues are way down and so they cant help the State like they used to. The state cant help the localities like they used to. The only answer is to borrow, like buffoon Obama has been doing since LIAR Paulson pulled a fast one on the world and bailed out his banking buddies. Paulson should be hung next to Lewis and the rest of these cheats, criminals and liars.

The Governor doesnt know he can balance that budget without tax revenues coming in UNLESS he cuts services much like the localities have done. And, lets not forget the funding that the State gives to its cities and towns - thats going away too. MORE cuts for the towns and cities.. Sales across the state are down and even MORE cuts are necessary. Where is the State going to get funding from to balance the already slashed budget? The Feds!?? HOW?

Local business starts to slump but also so does local tax revenues. Towns and Cities begin to not understand why their revenues are not the same and cant afford to do basic things like cut the grass, keep the streets lit, hire or keep employed school teachers and police officers... and on it goes.

Meanwhile, at the State's level, revenues are drying up fast. Budgets are now red and tax refunds are late.

Well, here is how your wonderful outsourcing works: That employee laid off from Bank of America, thanks to Mr. Ken Lewis - the previous Chief IDIOT Officer, and he struggles to find work in the city he was laid off in because idiot Ken Lewis is not the only one doing this. There are many others out there looking for work too. The employee then begins to spend less at the local stores.  That former worker is now late on his mortgage, health insurance, car payments, etc.

Am I that programmer? Nope. I've just heard all too many complaints from programmers and customer service, call center folks and textile workers alike. Some are friends, some are families and some are neighbors. It sickens me to think that these whack-jobs in the upper floors of these buildings consider outsourcing a viable solution.

They CLAIM we're in a "global economy" now. Here's a little hint you buffoon CEOs, there has been a global economy for 1000s upon 1000s of years now. Maybe you missed that day in school where the rest of us learned about the spice trade and scores of other trading routes across Asia and the middle east. Oh, and yea - they didnt conduct business on their corporate jets or whilst playing golf - deciding how many well-paid USA programmers to cut --- JUST BEFORE THE HOLIDAYS as it always seems.
