Yeah whoever is sticking up for the costumes, they look like shit but bey it was the opening day, you can't expect rome to build itself

@zerosnumber1 I never went in it, but I read that it was basically a tuna fish sandwich-stand modeled after Captain Hook's pirate ship. They also sold tuna burgers and pies. However, by 1983 it became damaged beyond repair after sitting in the water for so long.

Wow guys seriously? Stop trying to act like the costumes were crap.
Because thats some original shit right there, so don't complain how "old" or "reckless" they look.
Because truth be told,, they look original and how they should look nowadayss.

Wow u guys.....it doesn't matter who runs disneyland n what it looks like now all that matters is sharing wonderful memories with the people u love. That's what walt Disney wanted. For us to share memories n a magical place. so just be great full we still have it

My goodness, people need to calm down.
It's not like they could make the PERFECT costumes they have nowadays back over 50 years ago!
Honestly, nobody really knew if Disneyland would really go anywhere, so that's one of the main reasons these costumes don't look so... 'flashy.'
Even so, try sewing the costumes you see at Disney theme parks. I dare you all to try and at least try to attempt to create Mickey's head alone. It would take ages.
